</div>Today Chef LaLa joined Dr. Oz with some terrific mexican recipes that is sure to satisfy that hunger for Mexican Food. Chef LaLa has come up with a series of Mexican makeovers that focus on spices and vegetables that will bulk up the meal without adding the extra fat. The next time we’re in the mood for some Mexican, we can try these recipes for a healthy meal. There’s even a skinny margarita to top it off! Plus, Dr. Oz’s 7-Layer Fat-Fighting Dip, with this recipe you are saving up 200 calories per cup. Just thinking about about mexican food makes my stomach growl and my tastebuds come alive.</p>
<p>The Spicy Mango Margarita that has chili powder in it, sound a little too spicy for you? Check out the skinny margarita recipe along with Chef LaLa&#8217;s, Dr. Oz&#8217;s Cheesy Chicken Taquitos, Jicama-Guacamole recipes. With Oz&#8217;s 7-Layer Fat-Fighting Dip, the healthy fats comes from avocados that will regulate blood sugars and fiber from the black beans will help keep you full.</p>
<h3>Dr. Oz: Chef LaLa&#8217;s Cheesy Chicken Taquitos</h3>
<p>Taquitos are basically tacos made with corn tortilla&#8217;s that are not fried!</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients<br />
</strong>4 cups water<br />
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves<br />
Salt to taste<br />
6 oz shredded, Monterey Jack<br />
1 tsp fresh oregano<br />
1 tsp chives chopped<br />
1/2 tsp salt<br />
1/4 tsp black pepper<br />
16 soft corn tortillas<br />
Canola oil cooking spray<br />
2 cups jicama guacamole</p>
<p><strong>Directions<br />
</strong>Add water to large saucepan and bring to boil over high heat. Add chicken and salt. Bring just to boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center. Remove chicken from pan, discard cooking water; shred chicken into thin strips. In medium bowl combine chicken, cheese,herbs, salt and pepper.</p>
<p>Heat tortillas on griddle until pliable. Place thin strip of filling lengthwise on tortillas and roll tightly in flute shape. Secure with wooden toothpicks. Mist taquito with cooking oil. Repeat with remaining ingredients.</p>
<p>Bake filled taquitos in cooking pan 8-10 minutes or until golden and crisp. Serve these cheesy chicken Taquitos with Jicama-Guacamole</p>
<h3>Dr. Oz: Jicama-Guacamole</h3>
<p><strong>Jicama-Guacamole Recipe<br />
Ingredients<br />
Makes 4 cups<br />
 </strong><br />
2 cups jicama, finely diced<br />
1 cup chopped tomatoes<br />
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro<br />
1/2 cup finely diced red onion<br />
3 Serrano chiles, finely diced<br />
1 large avocado, finely diced<br />
Juice of 1/2 lime<br />
1 tsp salt</p>
<p><strong>Directions<br />
</strong>Combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Stir to combine.</p>
<h3>Dr. Oz: Spicy Mango Margarita</h3>
<p><strong>Ingredients<br />
</strong>4 oz silver tequila<br />
2 oz orange liquor<br />
2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice<br />
6 oz mango juice, unsweetened<br />
1/2 tsp chili powder<br />
Ice cubes</p>
<p><strong>Directions<br />
</strong>Place tequila, orange liquor, lime juice, mango juice and chili powder in a cocktail shaker with ice. Cover and shake until mixed and chilled. Place the combined chili powder and salt on a plate. Run a piece of lime on the rim of the glass. Press the rim of a margarita glass into the mixture to rim the edge. Pour margarita into a hurricane-style glass.</p>
<p>Garnish rim with lime wedges and chili powder and a little salt. </p>
<h3>Dr. Oz&#8217;s: 7 Layer Fat-Fighting Dip</h3>
<p>Here you go&#8230;Dr. Oz&#8217;s 7 layer party dip to fight fat:</p>
<p><strong>Ingredients<br />
</strong>4 cups shredded lettuce<br />
3 medium ripe avocados mashed and mixed with 2 tbsp lemon juice<br />
1 1/2 cup Greek yogurt mixed with 1 package low-sodium taco seasoning mix<br />
1 can black beans<br />
3 medium diced tomatoes<br />
2 cans sliced olives<br />
8 oz 2% cheddar cheese</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong><br />
Starting with the lettuce on the bottom of a bowl, add each layer on top of the next, ending with sprinkling the cheese on top. Alternate one celery stick with each whole grain chip to cut your calories in half.</p>
