Dr. Oz Prehistoric Diet Recipes; Dr. Oz has a great show today on plant based diets, Dr. Oz challenged 3 women with unhealthy eating habits to live in a zoo for 48 hours and consume nothing but raw fruits and vegetables. After just 48 hours on the extreme diet, their average weight and cholesterol levels dropped.

Forks Over Knives’ consultant Julieanna Hever, RD joins Dr. Oz today as part of Dr. Oz’s Prehistoric Diet Plan. Julieanna discusses a whole-food, plant-based diet, and makes 3 recipes from her book The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition…The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Plant-Based Nutrition

I just purchased a Vitamix 5200 not long ago and have been playing around with recipes trying to gradually edge my way into eating a plant based diet. I am not one of those people who can just make the about face and totally go plant based. So if you are like me and are trying to eat for health, below are a few recipes from Dr. Oz’s Prehistoric Diet Plan.

1/4 cup jicama, julienned
1/2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp salsa

Please list white fruit and veggies that you mentioned on ll/28/11.

Also, please do a show on people on blood thinners. We are unable to eat most of the healthy fruits and veggies you suggest because of vit. K interference with INR levels and well as many other foods you suggest.
