Annie asked Dr Oz for help and he and Michael Roizen came up with this pregnancy smoothie for Annie. While having a smoothie in the mornings along with exercise and her 10,000 steps a day annie went from 196 pounds to 155 pounds. She lost a total of 41 lbs.
Dr Oz Annie’s Breakfast Smoothie
Serving 1 cup
1 cup juice of your choice (papaya or mango nectar base is smoother and less acidic; less thick juices are preferable)
1 small banana or ¾ cup of your favorite berries
2 tbsps whey protein
2 tbsps flax, freshly ground (helps with constipation and provides omega-3s)
1 tbsp hemp seed nut, hemp protein, or psyllium husk (for fiber)
1 tbsp Salba or chia seeds (provide omega-3, calcium, magnesium and protein)
1 tbsp wheat germ (for B vitamins)
3 200-milligram fish oil capsules (break and use oil)
Blend well and enjoy!

Annie’s Healthy Tacos
Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey – browned in a pan, I drip all of the oil out.
Spice with natural spices – these are the spices that you choose and bag at your market or grocer. Annie recommends fire salt, sea salt, herbs and garlic
Lettuce
Fresh salsa
Fiber wraps
Directions
Throw turkey in a pan; brown and drip out all the oil. Add fresh spices or use a taco/fajita seasoning kit (making sure it’s low in sodium). Wrap turkey, lettuce, salsa in a fiber wrap and enjoy!
Stuffed Green Peppers
Ingredients
Green peppers
Basmati Rice
Ground turkey
Organic spaghetti sauce (or make your own!)
Garlic
Directions
Cut out the middle sections out of peppers. Make basmati rice according to directions. Brown and cook ground turkey making sure you drip out all the oil. Stuff peppers with ground turkey, spaghetti sauce and rice. Cook in a crock pot on low for approximately 6 hours.
Garlic Chicken and Shrimp
Skinless chicken
Shrimp
Olive oil to taste
Garlic to taste
Basmati rice or whole wheat pasta noodles
Brown chicken/shrimp with olive oil and garlic and serve over rice or noodles!
Apple Crisp
Ingredients
Steel cut oatmeal
1 apple
Dash of cinnamon
Directions
Prepare oatmeal according to directions. Slice apple and put it in the microwave for a few minutes until warm. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
